Now is your opportunity to join the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Wilmington-Christiana as we are currently looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Manager to ensure that our guests have a memorable experience by delivering quality service that exceeds our guest expectations.
Job Responsibilities include the following:
- Maintain and perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
- Respond to guest/fellow employee calls for maintenance tasks in guest rooms/public space.
- Maintain guestrooms using rooms preventive maintenance program.
- Check HVAC equipment: change filters, belts, bearings and lubricate, as necessary.
- Ensure security of assigned keys.
- Change or repair locks as needed.
- Maintaining drywall and painting for a consistently fresh look around the hotel.
- Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas.
- Assist in all phases of repair work.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Maintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance, and storage of all tools. Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces.
- Ensure safety for all guests and employees as a top priority.
- Keep accurate completion and task records in the project files.
- Perform walk around inspections of the property.
Qualifications
- Must have the ability to bend, squat, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive interpersonal skills: excellent customer service skills.
- Work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.
- High School or equivalent education
- Ability to utilize basic technology including a smartphone and a computer.
- Experience in maintenance or building trades preferred.
- Perform electrical, dry wall, painting, and plumbing work.
