Grafton Job Corps Center is seeking a full-time Maintenance/Driver to join our team. Drivers transport our commuter students to and from Worcester, and transport students to medical appointments and recreation events. We provide career-based technical and academic training along with job placement assistance to low-income youth ages 16-24 years of age. Drivers assist the Maintenance team when not on the road.

Schedules:

Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm

Pay starts at $18.62 per day

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides safe, efficient and effective transportation for students. Responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of Center facility and grounds.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prefer previous experience working with youth.
• Must possess and maintain a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements.
• CDL not required.

Staying Up To Date on COVID Vaccinations is highly encouraged for all of our staff and students.

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift forty pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
