Job description

We are immediately hiring machine operators for our second shift, 3:30pm to 2am Monday through Friday. This opportunity is a full-time, permanent position with a leading manufacturer of wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, wire processing and box building.

As a machine operator, you will enjoy weekly pay, an excellent benefits package, and work within a climate controlled state-of-the-art facility located in Spring Grove, IL.

Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• You will be trained to operate machines that cut wires.
• You will be trained how to work safely and efficiently.
• You will be trained how to properly measure wires.
• You will rotate through various workstations as directed by your supervisor.

Assembler Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to read a ruler to 1/64 of an inch.
• Ability to convert between fractions and decimals.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Read small print at a distance of 12-18 inches.
• Interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
