Shifts: Our shifts run in 12 hour shifts with every other weekend off!

$2/hour shift differential for 6P-6A

$75 Gas Stipend per pay period!

6PM-6AM

6AM-6PM

We are also looking for a talented treatment nurse. Must be an LVN! Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts!

About You:

Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse or a Registered Nurse. New Graduates are welcome!

Must have a strong desire to help others, a positive attitude, and great work ethic. Must be a team player, polite, and possess the ability to think critically. This position is perfect for a LVN or RN that wants to advance and make a real contribution, rather than simply collecting a paycheck.

The Charge Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices, regulations, and directed by the Director of Nursing. The Charge Nurse will lead or direct licensed and non-professional staff in the delivery of direct Resident care and support functions.

Responsibilities:

· Provide the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients in the unit

· Make nursing assignments appropriate to the skill level of employees

· Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders as well as support and enforce infection-control policies and procedures

· Use Point Click Care to convey/receive resident information

· Cooperate and maintain good rapport with nursing staff, medical staff, other departments, and visitors

· Obtain and document nursing history from the patient and/or significant other that is comprehensive of present condition and prior problems

· Perform basic assessment of the patient, indicating adequate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology

· Record vital signs, note changes, and pursue more-specific investigation as needed

· Assess for and notify physician and other appropriate parties of changes in condition

· Use assessment information to develop a care plan before the end of duty time that communicates enough information for incoming personnel to adequately care for the patient and use care plans as a basis for providing safe and therapeutic care to patients

· Consistently follow established standards, policies, and procedures in providing nursing care

· Accept accountability for clinical care of assigned patients, including supervision of nonprofessional personnel

· Communicate with the patient and his or her family and other members of the health care team in carrying out the goals of the care plan

· Respond appropriately in urgent and/or emergency situations

· Support standards of nursing care through adherence to existing policies and procedures

· Promote positive public relations with patients, residents, family members, and guests. Use tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations.
