Requirements

• Experience/knowledge of Forklift operation

Responsible for utilizing safe and proper procedures when handling or transferring materials throughout the plant. Primary responsibilities include, but are not restricted to:

• Weigh production material
• Enter routing sheet information after each operation in the database and on the routing sheet
• As instructed by the supervisor, make essential adjustments or modifications to the routing sheet and database
• As directed by the supervisor, move/unload packaging materials
• Move materials to and from specific departments and routing scales; from one location to another following instructions given by the Production Router or Supervisor
• Receive and unload trucks carrying materials/zinc
• Maintain scrap materials with corresponding paperwork and prepare for return to the supplier
• Report any quantity-related concerns, alterations, or changes in operations to the supervisor
• Report any lost or improperly completed routing sheets to the supervisor
• Backup for Die Cast Machine Operator

You should be skilled in:

• Forklift License
• Packaging Experience
• High School / GED
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Shop Math Skills
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
