Humane Society of Camden County is now hiring for kennel staff positions!

Kennel Technicians, also known as kennel attendants, are entry-level workers who provide basic animal and medical care in a animal shelter facility. We need someone(s) with self-motivating attitudes who can encompass "we" thinking and be a team player! You must love being around animals, cleaning up after them and the ability to anticipate their needs is necessary for this job. Must be able to lift 40lbs, be on your feet, work outside in the weather occasionally and be able to work rotating schedules.

Person(s) are responsible for cleaning kennels and cages for animals, hosing, scooping, washing, drying, feeding, watering, dishes, laundry, exercising dogs and assisting in animal care where/when needed, sweeping, mopping, etc.
Good interpersonal skills needed for speaking with visitors and clients.

Part time positions open.
25-35 hours per week.

Required education:
High school or equivalent

Required experience:
Must have or had animal handling experience.
Further training will be provided.
