Our kennel is looking for a Kennel Technician to join our team and assist in providing care for the animals at our facility. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable interacting with dogs of all shapes and sizes, have a high standard of hygiene and possess excellent communication skills. This position is best suited for someone who's comfortable working in a stressful environment, enjoys physical work, and is able to work on their own initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare kennels and cages for adoption event.
• Clean animal cages, kennels and outdoor runs.
• Take animals for walks.
• Socialize dogs with small children, other dogs and strangers.
• Be excellent at customer service and communication skills.
• Be a fast learner and problem solver in order to get their kennel adopted by families.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
