Job description

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer to become an integral part of our team!. You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
• Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs
• Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
• Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
• Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs
• Document all programming tasks and procedures
• Help in reports automation based on Client Services and other department requests
• Document, track, monitor and escalate support requests to ensure a timely resolution.
• Respond to email, phone calls and support requests tickets from employees and customers seeking help with software or reporting issues​​​​​
• Perform routine software maintenance

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. Or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a developer. Preferable with .NET/C# and ASP.NET Web APIs.
• Experience with or exposure to REST Web APIs (XML and JSON), ASP.NET framework, Python, some web technologies and programming a plus
• Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or other programming languages
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience with web development including HTML, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, and Web debugging DevTools.
• Some familiarity with cloud reporting platforms (Bigquery, Redshift) is a plus
• DBA experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A self-motivated, self-starter.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,673.83 per year
