Junior Software Developer
Job description
We are seeking a Junior Software Developer to become an integral part of our team!. You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
- Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs
- Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
- Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs
- Document all programming tasks and procedures
- Help in reports automation based on Client Services and other department requests
- Document, track, monitor and escalate support requests to ensure a timely resolution.
- Respond to email, phone calls and support requests tickets from employees and customers seeking help with software or reporting issues
- Perform routine software maintenance
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. Or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a developer. Preferable with .NET/C# and ASP.NET Web APIs.
- Experience with or exposure to REST Web APIs (XML and JSON), ASP.NET framework, Python, some web technologies and programming a plus
- Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
- Knowledge of Java, Python, or other programming languages
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience with web development including HTML, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, and Web debugging DevTools.
- Some familiarity with cloud reporting platforms (Bigquery, Redshift) is a plus
- DBA experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-motivated, self-starter.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Pay: From $40,673.83 per year
