Junior Graphic Designer with Engineering Skills

Job Description:

As a Junior Graphic Designer with Engineering Skills, you will work with the Senior Design Manager to create innovative designs that meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations, prepare technical drawings, and create marketing materials that align with our brand.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop products that meet the needs of our customers and align with our brand.
• Collaborate with the Senior Design Manager to create technical drawings and specifications for production.
• Use CAD software, SketchUp Pro, and other tools to create 2D and 3D models of furniture designs.
• Prepare design specifications and communicate them to the production team.
• Ensure that designs meet product requirements, industry standards, and customer expectations.
• Develop graphics for marketing materials, promotional graphics, and packaging designs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and software applications.
• Provide support to other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Experienced with CAD software and SketchUp Pro.
• Good understanding of spreadsheets and related formulas
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passionate about design and furniture.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $20/hr - $30/hr. Exact compensation determined based on skills and experience

Employment Type:
