Looking for a IoT Engineer

What you will be doing as a IoT Engineer

• Research & development of IoT technologies, standards and solutions for use in customer-premises Wi-Fi routers deployed in carrier networks
• Validating requirements for IoT hardware and features
• Developing test plans and test cases to validate proposed requirements
• Identifying root causes of RF/wireless, IoT performance and WiFi/IoT coexistence issues encountered with equipment deployed in the lab, at test houses, or in production networks
• Understand build and maintain wireless IoT test equipment and test environments
• Analyze and process test results
• Develop software and tools to interact with IoT test equipment
• Working with vendors to ensure adequate support and resolution of bugs and new feature implementation

What you will bring to the table as a IoT Engineer

• Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Electronics, Wireless, RF Engineering, or equivalent
• 2+ years of work experience developing and testing IoT performance and features in embedded IoT products
• Understanding and working knowledge of IoT protocols and standards such as Zigbee (IEEE 802.15.4), Bluetooth Low Energy, Matter, and Thread
• Experience with IoT development environments and testing platforms
• Proficiency in Linux and scripting
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++
• Familiarity with packet captures, Wireshark, and packet analysis
• Familiarity with data networking (OSI model, protocols, routing & switching)
