URGENTLY HIRING!!!! Express Employment Professionals are recruiting for an Inventory Control Specialist for a large medical equipment manufacturing company in Gatesville, Texas! The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for supporting Gatesville, Texas and Monterrey, Mexico manufacturing in the area of cost accounting and administration by detailed monitoring and improving the processes for inventory control, capital investments, and freight invoices. The ideal Inventory Control Specialist will have 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities-Inventory Control Specialist:
- Establish, monitor, and ensure adherence to the CAPEX Process
- Track and follow up on all capital expenditures and relevant expenditures
- Establish, monitor, and ensure adherence to the Inventory Cycle Counting Process
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing and year-end audits
- Complete journal entries accurately and on-time
- Provide reporting accurately and on time in accordance to guidelines and requirements for team expenses, inventory and capital assets
- Provide assigned team expense analysis and reporting for freight invoices
- Participate in ISO QA Audits, operational improvements, productivity improvements, and follow up cost saving initiatives such as CIP/Kata and Safety
Skills and Experience-Inventory Control Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with 1 year of experience
- Understanding of costing standards, cost systems, and variance analysis
- Understanding of inventory transactions and adjustments
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Excel and other ERP Software
Pay Rate/Schedule-Inventory Control Specialist:
- Monday-Friday
- 7:30am-4:00pm
- $17-$18/hr
