Mission
The Inventory Control Specialist/Clerk will assist ensuring the validity of our inventory by managing the inventory doing cycle counts,completing inventory checks, working with material handlers, validating inventory physically and electronically, and resolving problems. The company currently needs 3 clerks.
Principal Duites and Responsibilities
Conduct cycle counts and perform inventory adjustments as needed- Validates inventory
- Manage the entire inventory process flow to ensure proper work prioritization throughout the day
- Maintain all inventory documentation in a systematic method.
- Receive and inventory parts in the warehouse and execute transactions in a computer system.
- Provide needed copies of inventory documentation when requested.
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure our customers are satisfied
- Helps to train new clerks
- Respond to phone calls and/or emails in reference to inventory as needed.
- Organize the work area to ensure the integrity of the inventory
- Input order information into customer/carrier websites as needed
- Must evaluate work for errors
Work Experience, Skills, Abilities
Basic math and reading skills- Good written and oral communication skills
- 1 Year of related experience
- Experience with computers/inventory systems
Education
High School diploma or equivalent

Office with Moderate Shop exposure
Normal office conditions. Office located may be located in a multi-level office building. Job demands may require long periods of sitting, telephone work and/or computer work, as well as interaction with other people. Normal office conditions include walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, lifting, driving and/or traveling.
Moderate exposure to shop conditions, which are variable depending on the task assigned, but are generally dirty. Is subject to shop noise. Involves extensive standing and walking. Skin and eyes are subject to drying and irritating fumes, vapors and solutions controlled to OSHA standards. Works both in and out of doors, normally indoors, with sometimes dusty or confining work areas when in the shop/lab.
