POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for inspection of product characteristics, packaging, and labeling of containers as required. The Inspector may also be required to re-pack product or to rework product as designated by their supervisor.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inspection of product for any designated defects arising from molding or assembly process.

2. Inspection of the packaging used for shipping the product.

3. Inspection of labels used to identify the product.

4. Packaging of the part, or re-packing of parts from one type of container to another

5. Reworking of parts that do not meet acceptance criteria.

6. Completion of the production forms and labels required for the job.

7. Support manufacturing group as required, such as relieving and/or assigned to production processes.

8. Enter data into Plex system as required.

9. Other assignments as designated by the Shift Supervisor.

SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work with your hands.

2. Ability to communicate effectively with fellow Operators, support staffs and the Shift Supervisor.

3. Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to determine if a part meets quality requirements.

4. Ability to fill out forms and labels accurately and neatly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.25 per hour
