Statewide Instrumentation/Controls Contractor is seeking qualified electricians for hands-on project construction and oversight on various municipal and industrial Water / Waste water construction projects. Responsibilities include:

• Hands-on electrical construction of electrical, instrumentation and control systems in water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and associated facilities.
• Work alone or with crew in their activities involving the layout and construction of electrical projects.
• Coordination with Project Managers, Estimators, and Company Electrical Superintendent for the completion of projects.
• Plans new or modified installations to effectively and efficiently construct or repair wiring, fixture, or electrical gear consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of responsibility.
• Maintain work schedules and report logs and daily journals of project activities.
• Inspects quality of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Working as a lead foreman or subordinate journeyman, as circumstances & projects require.
• Supervising a team of employees, subcontractor and/or labor pool personnel in accordance with company policies and requirements.
• Instrumentation and controls background is a plus.
• Water tower and antenna tower climbing to a height of up to 200’ is a plus.

Requirements for this position include:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Texas licensed journeyman or master electrician
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and safe driving record
• Will consider experienced apprentice electricians with multiple years experience
• TDLR License/certification must be valid for a minimum of one year from the date of deployment
• Weekly travel – typical four-ten-hour workdays; overnight stays at project site; home on Friday and weekends.
• Individuals with high moral and ethical standards

Starting salary commensurate with experience:

• Journeyman: up to $70,000.00
• Master: up to $80,000.00
• Company vehicle and equipment provided (employee to provide basic hand tools)
• Major medical for employee and dependents (100%) for base plan
• Per Diem paid for travel

Location: Central Texas – Relocation typically not required depending on address. State-wide travel M-F from your home.
