Industrial Electrician

2nd AND 3rd shift positions open!
2nd: Monday-Friday (3 pm - 11 pm)
3rd: Monday-Friday (11 pm - 7 am)
Occasional weekend work for both shifts.
Starting pay is dependent on experience.
Summary / Purpose:
To carry out all Electrical task to a high standard as required. Trouble shoot, wire and build all electrical devices in house. Support Production Technician along with Engineers to reduce/eliminate Break Downs, meet new build target deadlines.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
- Preform trouble shooting on PLC's and read prints and latter logic
- Perform expert troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical items.
- Perform repair and preventive maintenance on: Heat Treat, Metal Stamping Press, Assembly and Finish Tumble Equipment, Boilers, Compressors, and HVAC systems.
- Use CMMS program to complete work and document issue and parts used on a daily basis.
- Follow all 5S Principles and adhere to all Company, State, and Environmental rules and regulations.
- This is not an all inclusive list and is subject to change as business conditions change.
- Be team player and work in groups to meet Maintenance KPI's target
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must demonstrate all skills associted with JD A, B and C
- Must be able to lead 5Y Problem Solving teams
- Must be capable to leading QC Circles inside the department
- Must a self starter with intiative to own your process youre working in
Experience:
- 2 year Technical Degree in Industrial Electronic/Mechatronic or related Technical field of study.
- Must pass Mechanical Aptitude and Electrical Test.
- Must have experience being an Electrician C or be able to provide evidence of previous employment as an Electrician with 10 years of Industrial Plant experience.
- Must be able to pass PIT exam to become licensed in Fork Lift and Scissor Lift.
- Must have received no less than a satisfactory overall rating on any performance test.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
- Will be required to work overtime during the week and weekend when needed.
- Wil be required to work during Plant paid Holidays and shut down to preform critical work
- Must be willing to work in environments that are hot, humid, and filthy at all times.
- Must be able to pass PIT exam to become licensed in fork lift and scissor lift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.05 - $26.48 per hour
