Oregon–Hydrologist I (two 3-month positions) needed to conduct streamflow permanence surveys on private forest lands. Duties include learning streamflow duration survey methodology using FLOwPER application and high resolution GPS units, and working closely with primary investigators. Experience with field work and interest in forest hydrology is desired. Applicants should be comfortable navigating in remote backcountry settings and be able to work as a team member under difficult field conditions. Overnight camping is expected. Bachelor’s degree in a hydrology, aquatic ecology, or closely related field is required.
