ESI Heating and Cooling in Portland, MI employs a highly skilled team of professionals that have been providing services for the Greater Lansing region for three decades. Our team works hard to make sure that all of our clients are satisfied with the quality of the work we do.
We're currently looking for HVAC service technicians with various levels of experience to join our team! If you have been on this path for a few years and would like to grow more and master your skills in the trade, we'll be happy to hear from you!
Position Summary: To provide maintenance and repairs on a variety of residential heating and air conditioning systems; offering the customer a high-quality experience.
Work Hours: Typically 8:30 am-4:30 pm, with flexibility, Monday through Friday; some evenings as needed. Rotational on-call schedule every 3 weeks.
Pay Scale: up to $25/h depending on experience + benefits

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of HVAC field experience
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- EPA Universal
- Able to lift and carry at least 50lbs
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Geothermal, mini-split, and boiler experience a plus
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Demonstrates willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
- Experience repairing and replacing decisions
