Job DescriptionThis position performs skilled and semi-skilled work in the installation,
maintenance and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems and equipment; to
provide instruction and leadership of subordinate mechanics in the absence of
the HVAC Supervisor, and to perform related work as required. This position
reports to HVAC Supervisor.
Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent
supplemented by formal training, special courses or self-education that is
equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education or
specialized advanced training in HVAC maintenance or a closely related field.
Must possess a valid state driver"s license. Must possess journeyman
certification in HVAC; must possess Refrigerant Transition and Recovery
Certification. Requires at least 2 years experience.
