POSITION SUMMARY:

Clay Brook, our premier luxury slope-side residency is seeking a Housekeeping Captain to join our Housekeeping team for AM and PM shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong team leadership skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Essential functions of our Captains are to provide team leadership in the housekeeping organization; guiding a team through the daily cleaning and required services.
• Captains assist with training and inspecting the work of Housekeepers. They are expected to provide feedback to team members regarding production and skills and inspect the work performed throughout the day.
• Captains may clean other facilities as needed and aid in the upkeep of required inventory and reporting needed maintenance.
• Attention to detail is a must, as our staff is also expected to report maintenance issues, missing inventory, or damage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age with a minimum of a high school degree, or equivalent.
• Six months prior experience is desired; previous supervisory, hospitality, and/or janitorial experience preferred.
• Must be able to work independently/unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Must have basic computer literacy.
• Ideal candidates should be flexible enough to roll with resort business levels, as activity ebbs and flows.
• Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Physical requirements include the ability to regularly reach, stoop, and bend; must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional outside activity may require exposure to adverse weather conditions.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, proper use of cleaning chemicals with strong attention to safety is required.
• Valid drivers’ license required and ability to meet requirements to obtain a Sugarbush License.
