Salemhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, conveniently located in beautiful Salem, NH, is hiring for three housekeeping positions:

• 20 hours per week (PT)
• 30 hours per week (FT)
• 40 hours per week (FT)

Hours are day shift including every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday). Differential pay and generous referral bonuses available.

$4,000 SIGN ON BONUS for full time, $1500 Sign on bonus for part-time (up to $750 paid after successfully completing 90-day probationary period, 50% of balance paid at 6 months, remaining balance paid at 1 year anniversary). Bonus is applicable for new hires and re-hires that have been separated from Salemhaven a minimum of 12 (twelve) months.

COVID-19 Vaccines are required to be current at time of employment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicating effectively with supervisor, coworkers, residents, and families
• Perform housekeeping functions in accordance with daily work assignments and established policies and procedures
• Clean/dust resident rooms, bathrooms, wastebaskets, common areas, kitchens, etc. using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions
• Follow standards and practices for use of specific chemicals and emergency procedures
• Perform proper cleaning procedures when a resident is discharged and/or transferred to another room/area as well as clean any vacant rooms as directed
• Ensure that an adequate supply of housekeeping supplies are maintained in utility/janitorial closets/housekeeping carts and are kept clean and orderly

Physical Demands:

• Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, stretching and moving intermittently throughout the facility
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry 10 pounds, occasionally lift and transfer up to 20 pounds, regularly push wheeled cart exerting 40 pounds lateral force and support 50 pounds for brief duration
