Job Details:
Pay Rate: $30 - $40 per hour
Days: Monday - Friday, 5 days per week
Hours: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM ( flexible)
Description:
Westchester County-based family with three children is looking for a long-term, reliable, kind and self-aware housekeeper/ family assistant to run the home. Our client seeks a forward thinker, someone who can be proactive and anticipate the daily needs of the family and their ever-changing schedules. There is a nanny in the home. There are no pets in the home.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist children with morning routine before departure for school including packing lunches, making sure children are dressed, supervising prior to leaving for school
- Transportation to and from school on days children do not take the bus
- Driving to and from after-school activities like art class, sports or girl scouts
- Supervising after-school homework time, playtime, or playdates
- Housekeeping relating to the children
- Laundry for children including washing, folding and putting clothing away
- Light meal prep for children
- Organization and decluttering of all closets, pantries, and storage areas
- Handling of all mail/packages
- Putting away grocery delivery
- Restocking and keeping inventory lists relating to children including children's toiletries, art supplies,
- Running outside errands, as needed
Requirements:
- Experience with maintaining all aspects of the home
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Able to work independently
- Excellent references are required from both current and previous employers
- Legally able to work in the United States for any employer
- Drivers license
