Abbeville General Hospital is hiring for a Maintenance/ Housekeeper/ Courier Position:
Full time Maintenance/ Housekeeper/ Courier Position for Maurice Community Care Clinic for day shift (8:30a – 5p). Responsible for general cleaning and maintenance of the clinic on a daily basis. Must possess skills necessary to keep the building and all areas in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition.
Maintenance/Housekeeper/Courier Required Experience:
- Previous cleaning and maintenance helpful. Willingness to learn, motivated and self-directed.
Maintenance/Housekeeper/Courier Educational Requirements:
- · High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Maintenance/Housekeeper/Courier Physical Requirements:
- · Medium Work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor constitutes a maximum lift of 21-50 pounds on occasion and/or a maximum lift of 11-25 pounds on a frequent basis
- · May be required to assist in the turning, lifting, or moving patients as well as walking about from patients’ rooms, as well as to and from various hospital areas
