The Carriage House Hotel is a 22 room Boutique hotel, and Lafayette’s only AAA 4-Diamond property, neighboring the City Club at River Ranch is looking for a Hotel Manager. Carriage House Guests are considered Members of the City Club at River Ranch during their stay and may enjoy the following amenities: Full Service Fitness Center, Outdoor Swimming Pool and Recreational Area, Tennis, On Site Casual Dining, and Riverspa Services.

The primary function of this hands-on position is to manage the Front Desk, and Housekeeping and ensure quality customer service as well as oversee the daily service operations for hotel rooms. The Hotel Manager will assign duties and shifts to workers and oversee performances to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures. The Hotel Manager carries out supervisory responsibilities that include interviewing, hiring, and training employees.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Previous hotel concierge experience required, and supervisory experience is preferred. Will be required to have a CPR certification.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Strong interpersonal skills, first class customer service and communication skills, multi-task skills, good management and supervisory skills, conflict resolution skills. Time management skills, organizational skills (ability to meet deadlines), attention to detail, along with the ability to work as a team player.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prompt and regular attendance.

· Work flexible hours. The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of hospitality that may include evenings, nights, week-ends and holidays.

• On-call status

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
