We are looking for a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for a Hospice Admissions RN position. The pay and benefits are generous for this Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse position and the schedule is very flexible. It is preferred that the Hospice Admissions RN has some experience working as an RN in a hospice setting, however we will consider an RN with at least 1 year of experience in any setting. The Registered Nurse would be doing Start of Cares and overflow. These hospice admissions are done in the home setting. The Hospice Admissions nurse will mostly be doing admissions therefore this is not a Hospice Case Manager position, however those with Hospice Case Manager experience are welcome to apply. This Hospice Registered Nurse position is with a home health and hospice company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. REQUIREMENTS OF THE HOSPICE ADMISSIONS REGISTERED NURSE POSITION: It is preferred that the Hospice Admissions RN has some experience working as an RN in a hospice setting, however we will accept Registered Nurses with 1 year of experience in ANY setting, however if the nurse does have experience with med/surg patients, that is a plus including Emergency Room, Emergency Department, rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse. Any experience will be accepted as long as the RN has at least one year of licensed experience. The registered nurse must be a registered nurse (RN). The registered nurse must be licensed in the state. The Registered Nurse must either be a US Citizen or have your green card. A COVID-19 vaccine is required for this position.
