The Benefits Specialist will provide exceptional customer service to internal team members and clients. Provide group benefits technology/system support, guide employees/clients through our systems and tools, transaction processing, and general office administration duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the face of the office and provide excellent customer services to clients, independently affiliated sales partners, vendors and sales team.
- Understand the process and details of Group Health Insurance.
- Strong knowledge of Group benefit insurance items: health, vision, dental, short & long term disability, accident, hospital indemnity, life insurance, etc.
- Responsible for direct support of the Benefits Manager, including but not limited to accounts payables and receivables, coordination all client service demos.
- Provide instruction and support on office systems for client employee benefits selections.
- Assist in auditing invoices for carriers and clients.
- Guide clients/employees in selection of benefits and understanding the selection process and portals.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate input and updates to Company related systems (Zendesk Sales, PrismHR, ZOHO, G-Suite)
- Assist agents with assembling materials for client service demos.
- Perform variety of other administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- 2-15 license (highly preferred)
- 1-2 years’ experience in Group health and medical benefits administration (required)
- 2+ years’ experience in a customer centric business environment with administrative responsibility for office operations.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
