Senior Account Executive – FULLY REMOTE

Job Description:

(This is a SENIOR level role and extensive sales experience is needed for consideration)

Marquis Account Executives work with clients who have applied for inclusion in our exclusive membership roster. Senior Account Executives will conduct telephone interviews to gather information regarding the career backgrounds, goals and biographical histories of these prospective clients to determine if they qualify for addition to our database. Once clients are approved for inclusion, Senior Account Executives will determine how Marquis can assist them with their branding goals, and will provide them with information about our product suite. Marquis’ products and services are fully customizable and aid in increasing credibility and exposure.

Duties include consistent and strategic call activity, setting and conducting interviews, and closing sales while meeting weekly sales goals. As a Senior Remote Account Executive, you are provided with the opportunity to interact daily with some of the most elite professionals in the world, making this opportunity both exciting and rewarding.

Required Qualifications:

  • Top-notch verbal communication skills. Candidate must possess a natural ability to be conversational, professional and articulate
  • Ability to produce a high volume of activity daily (calls, emails)
  • Ability to work full-time, Eastern Standard time business hours
  • Prior sales or highly relatable experience A MUST
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close a sale
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with virtual communication tools
  • Clear capabilities to work effectively at home including a dedicated space, appropriate equipment including a headset and a laptop or desktop computer (no tablets or Chromebooks), and stable internet.
  • High degree of coachability with a willingness to correct and modify skills. Candidate must be open to ongoing mentorship and development from our sales trainer(s)
  • Impeccable work ethic and ability to work effectively towards sales goals.
  • Organized nature with the ability to manage a busy, high activity role.

Additional Details:

  • Candidates will start with a substantial client base to contact and will receive new leads daily
  • Candidates must have/use their own personal equipment (laptop/desktop and headset). Chromebooks and Tablets are not supported. A hardwired Wi-Fi connection is strongly suggested and may be required if connectivity poses a problem.
  • Candidates are expected to have consistent activity throughout the workday (dials/emails/call airtime). Activity is monitored and used for coaching and development purposes.
  • Working hours - Monday-Thursday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST, and Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm EST
  • During the first 13 weeks candidates will frequently be asked to participate in pre work-day meetings starting at 8:30 am/8:45 am EST.
  • Room for growth: Potential to move to our Branding Specialist Department after employee has mastered our New Membership accounts.
  • This is a HIGHLY selective role. Only candidates with sales experience will be considered.

Compensation:

Average OTE for a first year Marquis Account Executive is $80-$125K, which includes an annual base of $45K plus expected commissions averaging $35,000-$80,000 (OTE figures listed are based off actual 2022 reporting)

  • Weekly-paid commission percentages range from 4.5% to 28.5% of revenue generated.
