Brandes Associates Inc. (BAI), a Defense contractor, seeks Full Stack Web Developers with atleast 3-10 years experience for classified programs, working onsite at Point Mugu Naval Air Station in Camarillo, CA.
Salary
$115,000.00 USD to $160,000.00 USD is the typical annual salary range for this position. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, create, and modify computer and web applications or specialized utility programs
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
- Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
- May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team
- May supervise computer programmers
- Working at the customer's site with government personnel to ensure program success
Qualifications:
Between 3 and 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the job description and responsibilities
- 3 years’ experience with Java, JavaScript, Containers, and Micro-services architecture
- 3 years’ experience with C+, C++, C#, ASP.NET Core, Visual Studio
- 3 years’ experience with SQL
- 2 years’ experience with HTML and CSS
- 2 years’ experience with Git
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent
- Experience with AWS – Amazon Web site services and Cloud services
- Experience with Linux and the command line
- Experience working with the Agile software development methodologies and collaborating between self-organizing cross-functional teams to deliver value faster, and with greater quality and predictability
- Experience working as a Scrum team member
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
- Ability to work independently, self-starter
- Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Desired experience:
- AMQP (RabbitMQ)
- Java ORM such as Hibernate
- Java with Spring or Java EE
- ORM such as Hibernate or Entity Framework (EF)
- Restful web services
- SPA, ReactJS/Redux
- WebSocket
Education:
- BS or BA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline
- ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant Associate’s Degree
Clearance:
- Condition of employment - must have a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a T5 security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for acquiring and maintaining a DoD Top Secret security clearance
