OLM Food Solutions is currently searching for Full Stack PHP Developer to join our growing team!

This individual will work directly with a marketing team and/or the Project Manager to create, configure, upgrade multiple sites built in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, CSS and HTML. By working directly with web servers, this team member will setup URL redirects, configure new resources and manage domain accounts. As a Sr. PHP Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. Experience with the following would be helpful; Linux (Ubuntu), NGINX, CakePHP, Ionic, React, JQuery, Bootstrap.

Responsibilities:

• Support and management of custom-built web applications developed by the OLM Food Solutions Development team
• Write effective APIs
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Backup, manage, and restore hosting sites as required
• Work with PHP daily in a custom MVC framework
• Update custom PHP coded sites currently in use by OLM Food Solutions
• Establish, plan, and document all hosting accounts and servers related to OLM Food Solutions environment
• Manage DNS for OLM Food Solutions websites
• Evaluate requirements, design, coding, and testing of technical solutions
• Documentation of issues and solutions
• Take ownership of existing features
• Take ownership of special IT projects as assigned.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Setup and configure new WordPress sites for the OLM Food Solutions marketing team
• Experience with the following would be helpful; CakePHP, Ionic, React, JQuery, Bootstrap
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education:

Education and/or Experience: Associate degree (or higher) in the field of Computer Science, or equivalent years of experience preferred.

Other Job Eligibility Requirements or Preferred

Technical Competencies: Basic knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, CSS and HTML; basic proficiency with WordPress; basic proficiency in scripting languages and concepts; technical knowledge of SQL or another relational database systems; Experience with Linux (Ubuntu), NGINX; DevOps; Experience with setting up or maintaining CI/CD pipelines; Version Control using Git;

Mathematical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts along with performing basic math functions.

Reasoning Abilities: Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong analytical skills with ability to identify opportunities.
