Job description

A self-motivated, personable, team player with a positive attitude who assists and works under the direction of a chiropractor and performs a variety of administrative tasks to ensure a chiropractic office is running smoothly and efficiently. This chiropractic receptionist must enjoy working with children, the office dog as well as assisting by answering the phone, scheduling patients, collecting payments, and answering patient questions.

Other essential functions:

Keeping the doctor aware of supplies that need to be ordered.

Helping clean the office once a week.

Skills:

Knowledge of computer programs.

Knowledge of business office procedures.

Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.

Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.

Skilled in answering a telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.

Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public.

Must be well organized and detail-oriented.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
