NPK Associates is an interior plantscape company with a growing floral/studio department. We are located in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, IL. We offer corporate weekly floral subscriptions and floral arrangements for corporate events. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter to join our small team as a studio assistant. NPK studio assistants work across a wide range of duties depending on the day and season. Daily tasks include processing florals and supplies, preparing arrangements for client deliveries. In addition to the floral production this position would assist with production of preserved moss walls, Christmas decorating and other seasonal designs on an as needed basis.

Primary job duties:

• Processing flowers and floral supplies
• Help with floral design as needed
• Wrapping and packaging floral arrangements
• Assisting the studio team with other projects as needed.
• Assiting with deliveries and installations as needed.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shifts
• 3 days/week Wednesday through Friday
• 6AM - 2PM
• Additional hours may be available

Qualifications:

• Previous floral training or experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills, organization, and attention to detail
• Self starter comfortable with self-directed work
• Good time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Valid drivers license. Your own car is a plus.
