Job Description

The Floor Supervisor acts as administrator and coordinator of resources and goals with a focus on customer satisfaction in relation to control of the restaurant by performing the following duties. The Floor Supervisor is a management position that is key to the overall success of the restaurant, both financially and culturally.

We are looking for an experienced and energetic individual with great leadership skills who will contribute to a fun, friendly, and fast paced BBQ heaven, all while developing a dynamic team. Our Floor Supervisors must lead by example in every area of the restaurant. Must be passionate about building a loyal fan base, with a desire to continuously develop systems and staff to provide the best possible experience to our guests again and again.

Responsibilities

  • Showing true guest first hospitality.
  • Assisting in the development and management of all floor staff. All staff will be developed based upon Sauced standards.
  • Insuring that proper food/beverage handling processes in relationship to the health and safety of employees and customers are followed. Follow all systems and checklists in place to ensure proper food safety and quality.
  • Developing yourself and staff on Sauced standards in service, food quality, and sanitation.
  • Opening, mid, and closing restaurant shifts throughout the year including holidays as necessary.
  • Supervising FOH employees for your scheduled shifts including documenting employee issues, disciplining employees, shift highlights, cash balancing, identifying problems.
  • Implementing sales building techniques with servers, hosts and runners to drive top line performance.
  • Filling in wherever needed in the restaurant when there is an absence by one of your employees.
  • Sets goals to improve quality, productivity, motivations, customer satisfaction and morale.
  • Provides visible supportive supervisor practices, commitment and leadership with openness trust, patience and discipline.
  • Future development and ownership of a department once trained and confident in running Supervisor duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid Food Worker Card required
  • Prefer a minimum of two years of full service restaurant experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
  • Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
