MTRWestern, a transportation company with locations in Portland, Eugene, Seattle, and Spokane, is seeking an enthusiastic Operations Manager to oversee our partnership with FlixBus. This service provides intercity transportation throughout the Pacific Northwest; from Seattle, Spokane, Portland, Eugene, and Vancouver B.C. This position will provide support, oversee the day-to-day operations and provide customer service support to our partners at FlixBus.

Due to the nature of the service, 10-15% travel will be anticipated across all locations, a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest while working.

This position provides day-to-day support and management training for the operations of our Interstate Route service. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, overseeing allocation of drivers and vehicles daily, policy deployment, process improvement, problem resolution, and utilization of resources. Additionally, the Operations Manager ensures that drivers are well-equipped and prepared for all routes, and interacts daily with each station location where routes are travelling.

Essential Functions:

• Manages policy deployment in the areas of quality, cost reduction, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls, and location performance measures.
• Manages and supports the dispatch of drivers and equipment.
• Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
• Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
• Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
• Determines operations headcount needs and ensures compliance with company policies.
• Ensures compliance with company needs for capital investments and improvement projects.
• Manages compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
