Desired Skills and Experience:

-2+ years experience designing in AutoCAD or related software in Fire Alarm, Electronic Security, or construction industry with device layouts

OR

-4+ years device installation in the Fire alarm or Security Industry (service level technician) with desire to enter engineering side to design systems

Plusses:

-Fire Alarm designing or drafting

Day-to-Day:

A security integration company in Centennial, CO is looking for a Fire Alarm Designer to sit onsite M-F. In this role you will work in AutoCAD to work cross functionally with operations to design fire alarm systems for commercial clientele. Project spend can be up to 1 million. You will work with building layouts, schematics and diagrams to design fire alarm device layouts with consideration to volt drops, battery power, existing building infrastructure, all in relation to NFPA 12 Fire Codes to maintain compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Englewood, CO: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Device installation (fire alarms or security): 4 years (Preferred)
• AutoCAD design: 2 years (Preferred)
