Title: Finance Director
Location: DocGo HQ: 35 West 35th Street, New York, NY 10001 (this is not a remote role)
Salary Range: $140,000-$170,000
Employment Type: Full time in-office (5 days per week)

The Finance Director will serve as the lead finance representative for the business line to which they have been assigned, partnering with the General Manager/VP of the Business Line(s) to ensure that targets are met. The Finance Director will serve as the senior finance person within the Business Line(s).
Responsibilities:
  • Oversees all Financial Operations of the assigned Business Line(s)
  • Serves as Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) lead for the business line(s)
  • Acts as liason between the business line(s) and the Accounting team
  • Assists in oversight of the Revenue Cycle Managment (RCM) areas of the business line(s), helping to ensure that billing is timely and correct and that collections are made in line with targets
  • Troubleshoots various system issues related to Revenue Cycle operations.
  • Identifies the root cause of issues.
  • Implements corrective action and coordinates with Information Services, Finance, and operations, as necessary.
  • Ensures proper data exchange from multiple applications throughout the facilities.
  • Facilitates in troubleshooting any practice management system/clearinghouse issues
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulatory standards.
  • Keeps abreast of federal, state, and local rules and regulations pertaining to revenue cycle operations.
  • Participates in third party compliance audits.
  • Manages the efficient use of department budget.
  • Performs related duties, as required.
  • Educates staff on proper revenue cycle processes
  • Monitor department P&Ls, compare forecasts to actuals, and work with Strategic Finance leads to ensure efficient resource allocation (headcount and financial)
  • Provide sound strategic support on all issues relating to cost and financial processes/standards
  • Provide a deep analysis on cross-BU financial challenges (data, process, analytical) and
  • align team members around recommendations that lead to the best operational and outcomes
  • Work with central Finance, Tax and Treasury, Accounting and Purchasing functions to provide support to Operations and Accounting
  • Provide decision support for day-to-day operational decisions and macro level project decisions through financial analysis
  • Conduct data analysis in Tableau (BI Tool), on operational performance
  • Produce monthly internal reports for business leaders.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with business leaders to review results
  • Provide ongoing rolling forecasts for management.
  • Perform business modeling for RFPs and other business development opportunities.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis, and forecasting.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in healthcare finance administration including three (3) years supervisory experience, required.
  • Knowledge of GAAP required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Advanced Degree such as an MBA preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office, including advanced experience in excel
  • Must be available after hours

  • Time management skills as related to daily schedules and productivity
