LSSI is hiring afull-timeFile Clerk MondaythroughFriday.Provides support and files case documents for CCS programs for Peoria office and workers.

Essential Functions:

  • File all documents in AP5 format in the files.
  • Keep all files current and properly stored to meet DCFS and COA standards.
  • Close Intact, Foster Care and Adoption case files.
  • Submit case assignment sheets and legal maintenance forms to DCFS for data entry.
  • Prepare files for audits/reviews.
  • Prepare closed files for transport to storage, document contents, box files, arrange for pickup for long term storage.
  • Compile list by worker of files to be audited giving copy to worker and supervisor.
  • Track files that have been sent to storage and audits.
  • Maintain Open and Closed case listings.
  • Provide backup for front desk and office manager as needed.

Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED. 1-3 years experience preferred.
  • Ability too communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, comprehensible manner.
  • Word Processing, spreadsheets, typing math/bookkeeping and general office skills.
  • Capacity to understand and empathize with the cultural, psychological, and practical needs of the clients that the agency serves.
  • Ability to work well with others and willingness to accept responsibility.
