Job Summary
The Field Services Queue & Inventory Lead (AKA Systems Support Specialist III) is responsible for the daily ticket assignments and hardware inventorying activities related to the operations for CHOC Children’s end user computing environment. This role will handle all procurement, receiving, organization, and structure of CHOC Children’s Field Services inventory. This will involve the triages of users requests and ensuring the best solution for their needs. Additionally, this role will handle the daily assignments of tickets for the Field Services Support Specialists. This will require a strong understanding of the CHOC end user environment and a familiarity of skillsets within the team. The Queue & Inventory Lead will be responsible for delivering exceptional service through all forms of customer communication, including, in-person, remote, email, phone, text, and chat. At times, they will need to participate in an on-call rotation and participate in after hours or weekend shifts. The Field Services Queue & Inventory Lead will be expected to support a wide variety of technologies that exist in the client environment and will be expected to maintain a strong level of understanding of these technologies as they progress over time.
Pay Range
Minimum $34.43 Midpoint $45.62 Maximum $56.80
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
- Required: Minimum five years of work experience in IT environment.
- Preferred: Six years of work experience in health care IT environment.
Education
- Required: Associate degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience and education may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Training
- Required: N/A
Specialized Skills
- Required: Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills. Consistent ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with project standards, providing project insight care with sensitivity and respect. Demonstrated use of effective communication and interpersonal relations to achieve established goals. Consistent history of actively promoting organizations vision and strategic plan. Constantly executes advanced communication and conflict resolution skills.
Licensure
- Required: N/A
- Preferred: IT Certification: CompTia, Cisco, ITIL, Microsoft.
Work Environments - Functional Demand:
