Job description
America Field Engineer is required to spend a significant portion of his/her time in the field and at the customers’ manufacturing facilities and other sites. Further, you will build customer strong relationships through effective use of technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Technical Sales
- Lead demonstrations and tool trials at existing or potential new
- Customers. Present regarding the company Overview. Understand
- Customer’s technical and commercial needs and make strategies to meet their requirements. This work can be together with Distributor Sales
- Engineer or independently. Obtain information about Customer requirements for RFQs and develop technical proposals and/or alternative proposals accordingly.
Installation and Launches
- Lead installation, pre-programming, pilot programming and debugging, and final launch sign-off confirmation with Customers at their manufacturing sites.
Trouble Shooting and Post Sale Follow-Up
- Post installation trouble-shooting and debugging, as needed.
- Maintain ongoing, good relationships with Customers
Percent Travel: 50% per week will be typical, including travel to customer’s sites (Day trip, overnight stay).
