Job Description: The Department of Management & Entrepreneurship in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for a part-time Faculty Associate position for Fall 23 semester. The successful candidate(s) will teach an in-person course and/or online course, prepare course materials, evaluate student work, and assist students. Faculty Associate positions are one semester, non-benefits-eligible, fixed-term appointments with no tenure implications, not to exceed .40 FTE. Individuals employed as Faculty Associates may not hold multiple, non-benefits eligible appointments at Arizona State University.

Essential Duties

The candidate must contribute to the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship’s mission in the areas of teaching and must be able and willing to teach Management/Human Resource courses to undergraduate students.

Minimum Qualifications

A master's degree in Business Administration, Human Development, or related field and (5) years related experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching MGT 420 Human Resource Management courses
  • Experience with training and industry partnerships
  • Teaching experience in a variety of platforms.
  • Experience with Professional Development

Working Environment

  • Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled classroom setting subject to extended periods of standing, lecturing, and facilitating classroom activities
  • Frequently required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work
  • Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds
  • Occasional activities require the ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to the resolution of conflicts
  • Clearly communicate to perform essential functions
  • Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, copier, telephone, and associated computer/technology peripherals
