$15/hr, Mon-Fri, 7am - 4pm.

Sets up and operates conventional and special purpose machines to repair hydraulic cylinders and fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts. Maintains and operates shop equipment and tools, performing quality work, as quickly and efficiently as possible. Sells the company labor and services.

• Ability to weld and use machinery and power tools to complete simple tasks such as drilling, honing, sawing, and polishing.
• Manual Lathe experience preferred
• Keep accurate, easy to read record of work performed and materials used
• Maintains safe work habits
• Maintains and cares for all shop tools, machines, and equipment
• Must have own hand and measuring tools
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Help maintain cleanliness, neatness and safety of building and work area

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Communicates in English to receive instructions and acquire parts and tools
• Moderate Physical activity: standing and or walking for 8 hours a days
• Requires handling of average to heavy objects up to fifty pounds from floor to thirty-seven inches
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
• The environment is inside but may involve some outdoor activity
• Work involves moderate exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises
• Requires sufficient hand and arm strength to operate normal and large hand tools
