Position Requirements

  • Professional demeanor.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Event Management.
  • Proven organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of catering and events market.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services: to include customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Works strategically with CEO
  • Coordinate services to make each event memorable for our client and guests.
  • Execute catering events from beginning to end to ensure the highest quality.
  • Prep your event team with all the information they need prior to the event.
  • Organize and confirm vendors for your events.
  • Create a logistical plan of catering or overall event based on the client's vision.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to identify ways to make future events even more amazing.
  • Coordinate travel for Project Managers and Baristas.
  • Ensures that events progress is seamless by following established procedures and collaborating with other associates and ensuring accuracy.
  • Understands expectations and parameters for event activities.
  • Manages and communicates event details both verbally and in writing to our staff.
  • Makes presence always known to customer during the process.
  • Responds to and handles client opportunities with proper escalations.
  • Participates in various meetings as necessary (Banquet Event Order meeting, Event review meeting, etc.)
  • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on service levels.
  • Adheres to all standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Sets high standards of performance for self and others; assumes responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs or special projects in event management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or event planning
  • 2-3 years' experience of meetings and events coordination experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

  • Boca Raton, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
