We are searching for an organized and meticulous Events Assistant to support our events, marketing team. Your duties will include researching and booking venues, organizing and reviewing vender contracts, and completing all safety and regulatory documents. Your responsibilities will consist of ensuring events run smoothly, supplies are delivered on time, and help put up and take down decorations.
Salary:
$23-$29 per hour
Event Assistant Job Duties:
- Coordinating with venue staff to ensure that facilities are properly set up for an event
- Coordinating with vendors to ensure that equipment or materials are delivered on time
- Distributing marketing materials such as flyers or brochures to attendees at an event
- Coordinating with sponsors to arrange for product placement or other advertising opportunities during an event
- Recording attendance at events by scanning tickets or checking names against a list of registered guests
Required Experience:
Able to multitask and solve problems- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Microsoft Office proficiency
