Kootenai Health is seeking a compassionate EKG Tech to join our team!

About the Job
As a EKG Tech, you will perform electrocardiograms according to established policies and procedures. You will provide data for diagnosis of cardiovascular disorders. You will edit and forward final test results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation. You should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrated ability to read cardiac arrhythmia’s OR successful completion of course within six months of hire
• Experience in a patient care setting preferred
• BLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during General Orientation
