What You Will Do (Driver [CDL B or A])

• The ideal candidate will have an active Class B Driver's License or Class A Driver's License as Dwyer Marble has a fleet of vehicles requiring both certifications
• Drive a 26' + flatbed delivery truck with air brakes and assist clients in unloading orders (CDL B)
• And/Or
• Drive a semi-tractor with a 43' trailer with air brakes and assist clients in unloading orders (CDL A)
• Load delivery vehicle according to DOT regulations
• Route deliveries to minimize travel time
• Maintain delivery logs and records according to DOT regulations
• Oversee maintenance of your delivery vehicle including daily inspections and PM's
• You will be moving granite, quartz and porcelain slabs with an overhead crane or forklift as needed during down-time driving hours
• You will assist the warehouse team as needed with loading delivery vehicles according to DOT regulations
• You will participate in continuous improvement meetings for the warehouse departments and the company

What You Need

• High School degree or higher education
• Friendly, confident, and customer focused
• Good verbal communication skills
• Dependable with the desire to work
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment and on individual assignments
• Must be able to work full-time and within company requirements

Nice to Have

• Experience using a forklift is a PLUS, but will train the proper candidate
• Experience operating an overhead crane, but will train the proper candidate
