The award-winning and newly-renovated Hotel Emery, Autograph Collection (229 rooms), located in a vibrant part of downtown Minneapolis, is seeking a hands-on and energetic leader who enjoys creating unique guest experiences and a positive work environment for everyone on the team. As Director of Rooms, you’ll get to:
- Oversee all daily hotel operations including front office, bell staff, valet, housekeeping, retail, etc.
- Work closely with the GM and the Executive Committee on hotel-wide goals and initiatives
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and revenue management departments to maximize revenue
- Ensure both guest experience excellence and employment experience excellence at all times
- Manage all financial aspects of the Rooms operation
- Fine tune your “non-operations” skills to prepare you for the next step
Qualifications
Ideal Director of Rooms candidates will have at least 3 years of management experience in a luxury, boutique, or independent hotel/resort setting. Prior brand experience also preferred (Marriott ideally), but not required.
