Leonard S. Fiore Inc. (LSF) is a third-generation, family-owned builder with offices in Altoona and State College, PA. LSF is growing and expanding its Pursuits and Preconstruction offerings. We are searching for an experienced, highly talented individual to lead our preconstruction team LSF has completed more than 2,000 projects in Pennsylvania and more than $1 billion in construction projects across eight Mid-Atlantic states. Single project sizes range from less than $1 million to over $60 million and include a blend of public and private work from all vertical markets.
LSF offers a full range of construction services and employs over 250 employees, including highly skilled tradespeople for major trade work. Our services include:

General Duties and Responsibilities
1. Business Development
· Represent company at industry events and business functions to promote firm in new and existing markets.
· Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
· Assist company executives in researching potential markets and clients to help guide the identification of pursuit targets.
2. Project Management
· Coordination and management of all preconstruction activities and team members and serve as key contact during preconstruction phase.
· Preparation and maintenance of preconstruction schedule to coordinate and keep on task all stakeholders including client, architect, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and LSF team members.
· Preparation, oversight, and management of technical RFP proposal responses and presentations.
· Preparation, oversight and/or management of project preconstruction documents including overall schedule, site logistical plans, phasing plans and permitting requirements.
· Provide and/or coordinate constructability reviews and analysis of construction documents.
3. Estimating
· Preparation, coordination, and oversight of conceptual, schematic, design development, and/or final estimates and proposals.
· Preparation and development of proposed contract scope of work, clarifications, assumptions, and exclusions
· Preparation and oversight of subcontractor and supplier scopes of work, solicitation, and proposal analysis.
· Provide and propose value analysis and alternative solutions to help maintain client budget.
4. Proposals/Contract
· Develop concise and detailed cost budgets at various levels of design for client review including itemized costs and detailed scopes of work across all trades.
· Develop final price proposal and scope letter for basis of agreement with client.
· Assist company executives in negotiation and execution of contract agreement with client including GMP proposal, scope qualifications, contract exhibits, and specific project terms.
5. Procurement
· Preparation and maintenance of contract buyout log.
· Prepare, negotiate, and bring subcontracts and vendor agreements to execution.
· Deliver timely and complete buyout packages to project teams.
· Develop and implement scoping and evaluation standards that streamline the purchasing process and minimize risk exposure.
· Oversee the successful ‘hand off’ of project to Project Management and Field Personnel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
