The Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for leading the Marketing Team and communication support for all IAS brands. This individual will manage a group, execute the IAS communication strategy, and work with their team to create and update key messages, media statements, and internal documents. In addition, the individual and their team will create a solid digital marketing strategy, work closely with the Innovation Center and Division Marketing to create local marketing content, and participate in Leadership and Sales meetings. You will be the key contributor in creating an ongoing marketing strategy to ensure sustainable growth in all IAS product lines.

Job Duties:
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, your main responsibilities will be:
- Collaborate with Business Line Management in the development of sales strategies to implement, and lead your team in translating the business unit strategy into sales tactics for assigned categories, brands, and new products
- Develop and implement a marketing/communications strategy
- Develop and manage the Marketing Department budget
- Coordination of efforts between the Division and communications team in North America
- Management and enforcement of corporate brand identity
- Ensure the brand is consistent and has a strong identity in the Americas HUB
- Management and administration with your team of the local website and social media channels to increase brand awareness among new and existing customers
- Lead team in creating and scheduling regular social media posts to promote products and concepts that support sales efforts
- Lead team to manage and administer the CRM for Sales
- Coordination of various trade shows and major industry-related events
- Develop and assist in the execution of external marketing campaigns and champion Atlas Copco standardized templates
- Implement regional marketing communication to ensure consistency, efficiency, and campaign performance across the brands and regions
- Maintain data and administration of established company information sites, including SharePoint, and Showpad
- Lead development of new digital marketing resources and technologies
- Management and administration of the corporate customer satisfaction program (NPS)
- Supervise and mentor Marketing & Communications direct reports
- Arrange with your team employee-centric events
- Collaborate in and create material for sales meetings, including the National Sales Meeting
- Work with the US Innovation Center to create value, benefit, and feature marketing material. Additionally, collaborate with the Innovation Center to create any additional marketing material and training material needed locally
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent practical experience in:
- Event coordination/planning/logistics
- Development of brand strategy
- Market/customer knowledge with respect to sales revenue generation
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in marketing communications
- Project management experience
- Basic understanding of web applications and technology
- Excellent writing, analytical, editing, and proofreading skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Fluent English
- Proven track record successfully implementing large, complex projects
