Director of Human Resources
The Director of Human Resources will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the McCall Behavioral Health Network mission and talent strategy. The Human Resources Director reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the organization’s senior leadership team.
Full-Time/Exempt
Monday to Friday - This is an fully on-site position
Salary Range begins at $85,000
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. At least five years of human resource management experience required, with experience in behavioral health settings a plus. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
Valid Driver’s license required.

For 40 years, the McCall Behavioral Health Network has been serving the residents of Connecticut on a beautiful historic campus in Litchfield County; we now have offices in Torrington, Waterbury, and Danbury. We are a private, non-profit, CARF accredited DMHAS-monitored and DPH-licensed mental health and substance-use disorder treatment provider whose primary mission is to provide integrated residential and outpatient services to those who suffer from these disorders—so they might lead healthier and more productive lives. We offer exceptional integrated, comprehensive behavioral health treatment as well as prevention and outreach for holistic health and wellness. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Collaborates with McCall Behavioral Health Network senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. Understands the unique needs and challenges of nonprofit behavioral health and medical staffing.
· Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs. Coordinates closely with clinical quality and training staff.
· Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and time-off; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety.
· Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
· Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information system (HRIS) and other information sources. This includes and is not limited to tracking and analysis of important measures such as turnover, retention, specific position trends, hiring challenges, performance issues, and other aspects of people management.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
