Lincoln Tech's Corporate Office is seeking a Director of Financial Aid & Regulatory Services. You will be responsible for ensuring Lincoln Education Services' campuses comply with Department of Education, State, and Accreditor rules and regulations as they pertain to post-secondary institutions.
- BS preferably in Business Administration or Government Affairs
- 10+ years in progressively responsible financial aid experience with regulatory knowledge
- Assess current internal Financial Aid Manual, keep current to reflect changes from various regulators as they occur. Disseminate to all Financial Aid Offices (FAO).
- Assess current internal policies and procedures, keep current. Disseminate to all FAOs.
- Review consumer information, website and in print. Ensure all requirements are included. Update as needed.
- Conduct periodic Webinar training for all FAO staff.
- Meet in person or through video conferencing with financial aid staff on an ongoing schedule.
- Identify areas of improvement and conduct focused training.
- Meet in person or through video conferencing with Title IX coordinator at each campus. Review position annually and provide training as needed.
- Oversee Program Review or Internal Audit activity at individual campuses as they occur.
- Prepare or monitor responses to both Program Reviews and Audits as required.
- Prepare or oversee preparation of Annual Security Report (Clery Act) for publishing and disseminating.
- Prepare or oversee preparation of annualFiscal Operations Report and Application to Participate (FISAP).
- Interact with outside regulators- Federal, State, and Accreditors on related issues.
- Attend conferences, webinars, and virtual meetings sponsored by the Department, State, and various organizations within the financial aid community.
- The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and levels of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.
- Master's Degree and FA Certifications a plus
- Extensive knowledge of Title IV HEA regulations, Federal Student Aid's (FSA) procedures and policies, and regulatory statutes
- Experience with day-to-day school operations and processes
- Ability to communicate within the organization and with outside entities
- Effective written skills
- Working knowledge of Department data bases and financial aid software programs
