Jones-Harrison is currently seeking Dietary Aides to join our team! The Dietary Aide is responsible for creating a high-quality dining experience for residents by assisting with meal preparation, dining room preparation, and meal service consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures, and best practices.

Pay: Starting wage of $15.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on experience

Wages On-Demand

We are partnered with ZayZoon to offer you Wages On-Demand so you can access your earned wages before your pay date.

Shift: Evening shift from 3pm to 7:30pm, including an every other weekend rotation

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs
• Work within the culinary department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary culinary department
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One to three years food service experience preferred, but not required
• Prior experience working in a long-term care facility a plus
• Must receive a “not disqualified” criminal background result from DHS and may not be on the OIG exclusions list
• In accordance with CMS Vaccine Mandate, new employees must provide proof of Covid-19 vaccine or submit documentation for exemption
