Mid-level technician needed for HOURLY DAYSHIFT position at our shop located in Denver, NC $2,500 sign-on bonus! Primary responsibilities include equipment repairs and secondary department supervision. Salary/Compensation will be based on, knowledge, skills, and experience. OT after 40! - Handle preventative maintenance.
- Perform welding.
- Perform basic service line function (ex. check tire air pressure, change lights).
- Perform minor tune-ups.
- Solve electrical problems, brake problems, compressor preventive maintenance (refrigeration system).
- Complete minor trailer and engine tractor repairs.
- Observe, report and correct all unsafe and unsanitary conditions that could cause associate and/or customer accidents.
- Strive to find more efficient ways to do the job and seek to reduce costs and improve labor productivity.
- Perform all functions of a Diesel technician apprentice.
